Blessing of the Animals

In the fall around the feast day of St. Francis, St. Luke’s hosts a Blessing of the Animals. It is a time when community members who do not worship with us join our church family.  We meet outside of church on the grass (weather permitting), and whoever is leading the Blessing lays a hand on the fur family member and offers a blessing.

Grace Pantry

Grace Pantry provides household and personal items not eligible for SNAP food stamps: such as shampoo, disposable diapers (the most requested item) and dog and cat food. We make available courses that people could benefit from as for example, a nutritional course called, “Say Yes to Fruits and Vegetables.”

Music at St. Lukes

Vocal Music We continually seek to enhance the worship experience through a balanced repertoire of traditional hymns, music of the Masters, psalms, and songs of praise and renewal. St. Luke’s includes classic music from the Anglican tradition, and a blend of renewal and new-traditionalist sources. Anyone of any age is welcome to sing with us, regardless of experience. The…

Prayer Group

A group of parishioners meets weekly in the Trudeau Room of the Baldwin House to discuss various topics of religious and spiritual interest to the group. DVDs are used to facilitate the discussions. Prayer Team

The Prayer Team is committed to praying for those whose names are given in confidence, within the parish and beyond. On the second and fourth Sundays the healing ministry is offered at both services. Anyone wishing to receive the laying on of hands on their own or another’s behalf, is invited to approach the prayer team in front of the nave after receiving communion.

Spiritual Cure Cottage

A former carriage house, the spiritual cure cottage is a space set aside for for spiritual health and rejuvenation. The cottage as place for a few days of respite for visiting clergy, writers and artists, maybe a college student in need of a solitary break. The space is big enough for one person or a couple. No spiritual aspect is required of the retreat for any who use…
